Mirren the Mermaid

I was lucky enough to be gifted the bare bones of the mermaid and worked to restore the sculpture and create her facial features.
The process took around 200 hours over 6 months.
I added more layers of cement and mesh before I even started to mosaic her body. I envisioned the design in my mind, yet it seemed to have a life of its own, guiding my fingers creating intricate details.
